Summary of “Foring Ar Pipre” (The Ant and the Grasshopper)

Foring Ar Pipre (The Ant and the Grasshopper) is a Georgian folk tale, originally published by the Soviet Children’s Library in the 1930s. Unlike Aesop’s famous fable of the same name, this version tells the story of a grasshopper and an ant who, despite their vast differences, form a strong bond of friendship, feeling as if they were brothers.

They make a pact to never separate and embark on an exciting journey to explore the world together. The tale highlights themes of friendship, loyalty, and adventure, making it an engaging read for children.
