Artist Mia Wolffs latest book of visual narrative is a lament and a celebration of her two closest friends, now gone. Assembled from the ashes of unfinished works, an elegiac piece of graphic poetry emerges a lucid dream where mythical figures pirouette and grieve. Like waves lapping against the shore, Wolffs multimedia musings are situated in the place where dream and memory converge and solace is found. Lost & Found, which weaves together reality and the imaginary, the ordinary and the fantastical, and laughs at its own weirdness, is a wistful and melancholic fantasia that floats overhead and leaves a lump in ones throat.
